Members of the EPHS Robotics Team love robotics and look forward to building a new robot each year. Members hope the team will continue to grow and participate in the FIRST competitions. To do this requires dedication, hard work, teamwork, and passion. But as you can expect, building a multifunctional, electronic robot is very expensive. Not only does our budget account for expensive building materials, but it also covers the cost of competition registration and transportation. While a portion of our budget is covered by the student registration fees, about 90% comes from sponsorship.
Sponsoring our team is also a great opportunity to promote your company to a wide audience of people, from the EPHS student body (3,100) —which is the 2nd largest in the state of Minnesota—to the viewers at the events, both live and via webcam. Also, sponsorship is a great opportunity to support a very unique, exciting, and educational experience. By sponsoring our team, you provide young students the opportunity to experience not only engineering or technological fields, but also gain the skills of leadership, marketing, teamwork, and communication. Such skills are essential for a successful company.

Tiers
Here is a list of our sponsorship tier levels. Depending on how much money your company donates, you will be assigned to a different tier level. Each tier level has a different set of benefits, and the benefits stack upon each other as you move up the tier ladder.
Supporter, $500+ in money goods and/or services
Benefits include having your company name listed on our website and an invitation to attend our team banquet at the conclusion of our season.
Bronze Tier Sponsor, $1000+ in money, goods and/or services
Benefits include having a small company logo displayed on our team t-shirt, pit banner (displayed at each competition), and our on team website. Additionally your company will be invited to attend the team banquet at the conclusion of the competition season and will receive two tickets to our Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser held in the fall.
Silver Tier Sponsor, $3,000+ in money, goods and/or services
Benefits include having a medium-sized company logo displayed on our team t-shirt, having a medium-sized company logo displayed in our pit at each competition, and having your company logo/link displayed on our team website. Additionally, your company will be invited to the team banquet at the conclusion of the competition season and will receive two tickets to our Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser held in the fall. If you wish, your company will receive third access to the resumes of Talon Robotics’ alumni who are seeking employment.
Gold Tier Sponsor, $5,000+ in money, goods and/or services
Benefits include having a large company logo displayed on our team t-shirt, having a large company logo displayed on our robot, having a large company logo displayed in our pit at each competition, having a medium company logo displayed on our team’s trailer, and having your company logo/link displayed on our team website. Talon Robotics’ top three sponsors will also be recognized at competitions by having their names announced before elimination matches. Additionally, your company will be invited to the team banquet at the conclusion of the competition season. If you wish, your company will receive second access to the resumes of Talon Robotics’ alumni who are seeking employment.
Platinum Tier, Sponsor, $10,000+ in money, goods and/or services
Benefits include having an extra large company logo displayed on our team t-shirt, having an extra large company logo displayed on our robot, having an extra large company logo displayed in our pit at each competition, having a large company logo displayed on our team’s trailer, and having your company logo/link displayed on our team website.
